How to open
View → Settings
General
- Language — interface language
- Color Tags, Star Ratings — enable or disable color labels and stars
- Editor — application for ⌘E and the limit for opening photos without confirmation
- Color filters and Rating filters — what a regular click and ⌥ + click do on filters
- Digit keys (0-8) — what digits assign by default: color labels or stars
- Auto-open Import — automatically open import when a memory card is connected
Cache
- Thumbnails — how much space the thumbnail cache uses and its limit. The "Clear thumbnails" button removes only cached previews; the photo index and face analysis are kept
- Total cache — overall cache + index size. The "Clear all cache" button removes thumbnails, the photo index, and face analysis; ratings and color labels are preserved. Open folders will be re-scanned
- Open cache folder in Finder — opens the folder where PhotoWorker stores thumbnails and the index
Faces
- Minimum face size — minimum face size for detection; already indexed photos require reindexing
- "Eyes closed" threshold — how strictly PhotoWorker flags closed eyes
- FaceBrowse sharpness filter — hide overly blurry faces in FaceBrowse
Gallery
List of client galleries: name, date, expiration, photo count, and size. From here you can open a gallery, update it, load the client's selection, and delete.
In the details panel (click a gallery): URL copy and open buttons, download statistics (count and date), changed files indicator.
At the top — used space and available quota.
Keys
Choose a ready-made key preset: PhotoWorker, Lightroom, Capture One, or Photo Mechanic.
You can save your own preset with Save As…, rename or delete custom presets, reset all keys, and change individual shortcuts. If a new key is already taken, the conflict is shown immediately.
License
- License information — status, license type, and linked key
- Devices — how many devices are in use (1 license = 2 Macs)
- Change key and Deactivate — replace the key or release a device
- Updates & galleries — how long you have access to updates and client galleries
- Refresh status — refresh license information
- Send Diagnostics — send a log archive to support. You'll get a secure download link. Use this if PhotoWorker behaves unexpectedly — it helps us debug.
License purchase is shown as two cards side by side — Standard and Lifetime — both list what's included and show "2 devices".
